Hello:

Having served with the 5/46 198th in 1969 and having been to CAP 1-3-5 on many occasions, I was excited to see there was a map on your page. Dang thing didn't come up and it says it's not on the server. Is there some way to get this gif sent to me. Preferably the larger map. I've also been to CAP 1-3-4 and 1-3-3 on occasion.

Thanks for your time and any help regarding this.

Hello Tim:

Bob Cummings said you might enjoy this jpg. It's CAP 135 after being bulldozed flat. This picture taken early 1970 I believe. I first went to this CAP in Aug 69 and it was lumpy and green (sand hills with vegetation). The dozing really ruined its natural beauty, but was probably necessary for the protection of the ville that grew between the defensive position and the South China Sea. Boy, I'd sure like to own some of the real estate along that sea. Build a grass hooch and run off the developers when they showed. Well, I can dream.
