Tim,

I am going through some of my personal logs and diaries that I managed to save. Some of these items may be of interest to place on the website or file under a miscellaneous section.

Are you familiar with "Thrush Points"? These were code names for certain coordinates on the map.

Example:

These were used to prevent the enemy from determining our positions if they were monitoring our frequencies.

Here are a list of "Thrush Points" used on 2/24/67:

Here is one sample of a radio message to me:

RADIO FREQUENCIES:

Are you familiar with BLUE MONDAY? There are ten letters and each letter represents a number; for example one day you'll receive a code "DN", that means letter D represents the number 1, and the letter N represents the number 0.

Another code is given; example, FKLBOTA - the new radio frequency is 49.2 For more clarity

The only letters in FKLBOTA that corresponds with BLUE MONDAY are the letters BOA = 49.2

LIST OF FREQUENCIES AS OF FEBRUARY 25, 1967
